Letter from Mr. Pierre Poilievre and response
... Ottawa, Ontario ... October 3, 2010 Mr. Pierre Poilievre Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister House of Commons Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0A6 Dear Mr. Poilievre, I am both grateful and impressed by how quickly you responded to my appeal, and I don’t mean to be unkind to the person or persons your office contacted at Treasury Board, but either they were not familiar with my file, which is highly unlikely, or you are being given the run-around as they have been doing to me and others for more than a decade now. From my reading of the Accountability Act the Public Service Integrity Commissioner can not officially investigate incidents that occurred prior to the Act coming into force and the injured party had to be in the employ or doing business with the Federal Government at the time. I will of course contact Commissioner Ouimet to confirm my interpretation of the Accountability Act. As manager of the public purse, Treasury Board had a duty to investigate Foreign Affairs’ claim that it was losing millions of dollars through managerial incompetence and theft (read Proof of Perjury). Instead it chose to abet the theft and assist in the persecution of the person who uncovered the massive misappropriation of public funds, going as far as blackmailing (read Blackmail) a judge to ensure a successful prosecution. Expect to hear from me again, unless in the meantime Treasury Board decides to reconsider its advice to you, and I must assume Mr. Baird, and starts addressing the issues raised in a forthright and expeditious manner. Again, thank you. You could have ignored my appeal, but you didn’t, and while the outcome is still not what I expected, I am still very much in your debt. Sincerely Yours ______________________ Bernard Payeur
