The Tomb of Jesus A Canadian filmmaker by the name of Simcha Jacobovici maintains he has found the tomb of Jesus of Nazareth and produced a documentary, The Lost Tomb of Jesus, to prove it. How can that be? Both Christianity and Islam agree on the fundamentals: Jesus of Nazareth is not to be found on earth, but in heaven where he is waiting for the end-of-times to lead their respective forces against mostly each other: in the Christian camp, as the Son of God; in the Muslim camp as Allah’s trusted Prophet-General. Jesus, when he returns, will also convince thousands of Jews to adopt Him as their saviour or to submit to the Will of Allah depending on which role He is eventually called upon to play. Both Christianity and Islam also agree that there was a crucifixion. Christians believe it was a real person, the Son of God, who died on the Cross. Muslims believe it was an elaborate illusion created by Allah to save Jesus, the lesser Prophet (Muhammad being the greatest Prophet) to fight another day. 4:157 And their saying: “We have killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary and the Messenger of Allah.” They neither killed nor crucified him; but it was made to appear so unto them. Indeed, those who differ about him are in doubt about it. Their knowledge does not go beyond conjecture, and they did not kill him for certain; 4:158 Rather Allah raised him unto Him. Allah is Mighty and Wise. If you are Muslim, and you survive the apocalyptic battles of the end-of-days, you will be able to visit Jesus in the vicinity of Medina. In Islamic teachings Jesus reigns 40 years, the rest of his natural life span, after defeating the forces of evil. During his second time on earth he will marry and have children. On his death he will be buried in Medina next to the grave of the Prophet Muhammad. For more on Allah's Jesus click here. Bernard Payeur, February 28, 2007
