Your Holiness,

“A laudable model of behaviour for me was a priest. There would be others. I was particularly fond of the man for whom I was an altar-boy, a cub-scout and scout leader. My fondness for Father Tremblay was a mix of admiration and gratitude. The priest had saved my life.” From Shooting the Messenger, copy enclosed.

Father Tremblay not only saved my life when I was a boy, but was an example on how to live that life.

The inhuman constraints that the church places on priests cause good men to do bad things. Consider saving these good men and the children that these good men, in a moment of weakness, will inevitably and irrevocably harm by making it possible for them to lead a normal life. It’s what Jesus would do.

Sincerely Yours
